I’m Ann Meehan, LPCC, RPT-S, EMDRIA Consultant.

And I never planned to work with kids.

When I was assigned to an elementary school early in my career, I quickly realized something uncomfortable:

Talk therapy wasn’t working.

I sat in sessions feeling underprepared.
Unsure how to interpret what I was seeing.
Hoping I wasn’t missing something important.

The turning point? Training. Consultation. Integration.

The more I understood the meaning behind the battles and tea parties, the more confident I became. The more confident I became, the better outcomes my clients experienced.

That shift changed my practice.

I want that for you too.  That’s exactly why I developed the All-Access Playroom Pass. To give you the comprehensive three sixty play therapy training you need for both your foundation and everything else that gets thrown your way.

What is The All-Access Playroom Pass and who is it designed for?

The All Access Playroom Pass is a complete, integrated play therapy training library. It takes you from foundational play therapy skills to advanced techniques, giving you the tools, frameworks, and confidence to handle any play therapy session—without overwhelm or guesswork. This isn’t just another CE bundle; it’s a system designed to help you integrate everything you’ve learned into real-world sessions.

The All-Access Playroom Pass is designed for any therapist who wants to work with kids and teens using the power of play therapy.

Will the All-Access Playroom Pass give me a play therapy certification?

These trainings are approved by Meehan Mental Health Services (APT Approved Provider 19-580).  CEs earned as part of this bundle can be used towards CE requirements for becoming a Registered Play Therapist or renewing RPT credits.  The All-Access Playroom Pass does not have a separate play therapy certification.

I'm going for my RPT - do these CEs count towards becoming a Registered Play Therapist?

Absolutely! These trainings are approved by Meehan Mental Health Services (APT Approved Provider 19-580).  CEs earned as part of this bundle can be used towards CE requirements for becoming a Registered Play Therapist or renewing RPT credits.

I'm going for my RPT - what category does each course meet?

RPT Applicants are responsible for distributing training hours into categories for each course.  The majority of courses are founded in Seminal or Historically Significant Theories (Primarily Cognitive Behavioral Play Therapy and Child Centered Play Therapy) and Skills and Methods based on these models.  The majority of courses have special topics sections, cover cultural diversity, and there is some limited history sections.

I'm not going to become a Registered Play Therapist - can I still take these courses?

Yes! You don't need to be pursuing becoming a Registered Play Therapist to take the All-Access Playroom Pass trainings.  They are meant for any therapist that works with kids and teens to gain a new level of mastery and competence in play therapy.

Do I need Play Therapy experience to take the courses in the All-Access Playroom Pass?

No! And if this is your first play therapy training - I'm glad you're here!  The bundle is designed to give you the foundational training you need and it builds upon expertise and mastery into more complex play therapy topics! This course is perfect for those just starting play therapy or who are wanting to move into more advanced topics!

I don't work in an outpatient clinic or private practice - will the All-Access Playroom Pass work for me?

You don’t need to be in private practice to benefit from the All-Access Playroom Pass. The trainings are grounded in child development, attachment, trauma-informed care, and play therapy principles — not one specific setting.

Whether you work in schools, community mental health, in-home services, hospitals, agencies, or group practice, the clinical skills translate. Play is the modality — not the setting. The All-Access Playroom Pass teaches you how to think clinically and interpret themes, not just memorize techniques. That kind of clarity is especially powerful in high-demand settings with limited time and resources. If you work with children and use (or want to use) play therapy, this was built for you.

How many courses and CEs are included?

There are 16 courses and 87 CEs that are part of the All-Access Playroom Pass. These trainings are approved by Meehan Mental Health Services (APT Approved Provider 19-580) for APT CE credit. You’ll find a complete list of included courses above. Each title links to a detailed course page outlining the training description, learning objectives, and specific CE information—so you know exactly what you’re earning and learning.

Do these CEs count towards licensure in my state?

This absolutely depends on your state and licensure renewal process. These trainings are approved by Meehan Mental Health Services (APT Approved Provider 19-580) for Association for Play Therapy (APT) CE credit. Some states require state approval for CEs or to be approved by a national accrediting association.  Other states require training to be mental health related OR you can submit CE activities for pre-approval.  For any questions about whether these CEs qualify for state licensure and renewal please reach out directly to your board.

Do all of the courses just teach the same interventions over and over?

While some of the courses share a limited number of interventions, there are 190 total separate interventions in the All-Access Playroom Pass.  The bulk of interventions for each course are unique to that course.

What if I'm overwhelmed and don't know where to start?

An included BONUS in The All-Access Playroom Pass is a module that walks you through how to decide how to move through the course, make time for training, and how to prioritize what training to take first. The good news is you have access to the bundle for the life of the course - there are no deadlines, no required order, and no pressure to complete everything. Start where you need the most support, and come back to the rest when it fits your capacity.

Do I need to complete all of the courses to see results?

No - most therapists start with the foundational courses first and move into more advanced topics.  You can take as many or as little trainings as you want as part of the bundle - all at your own pace!

How long will I have access to the courses in the All-Access Playroom Pass? Do I have to complete them within a certain timeframe?

Therapist will have access to the courses for the lifetime of the course!  You can return to the courses, access the materials, and rewatch any segments to get additional support.
