Notes are one of the never ending conveyor belt tasks of a therapist. Like laundry, wiping counters that never seem to stay clean (at least in my house with a 5 year old), or sorting all those random paper piles that just seem to spring up out of nowhere.
And notes don’t really have empathy for you. They don’t let you take a minute and catch your breath, they just keep coming and coming! And sometimes you look back and there is a stack (metaphorical of course in this digital world) of 20, 30, or even hundreds of notes to catch up on.
