Free Download: RPT Tracking and Credentialing Guide

It’s about time for an upgrade!!!

Waaay back in 2019 I put my very first free download into the universe!  What was it?

Yup - the original RPT™ Credential Tracking Guide!
2020 was the year everything changed for what it meant to become a Registered Play Therapist ™ or RPT™.  Prior to 2020 the process was summation - you get your training, client hours, and supervision and add it all up at the end to get the totals requirements.

2020 changed the game for becoming an  RPT™ with the introduction of the three phase process making sure that training, practice, and supervision all happened at an even pace throughout.  This prevented someone from doing all of their supervised practice before they even took a play therapy training course - which is a great thing!

The bad news? More complicated tracking to wade through the process and phases of becoming an RPT™, bringing a lot of overwhelm and doubt. Read more about the initial shift HERE!

And in response to all of those changes I did what I do best - I created a sweet spreadsheet to help bring calm in the chaos.

I found I was spending a lot of time trying to support supervisees and consultees in moving through the process and phases and the spreadsheet cut out the headache and stress.  It also allowed consultees and supervisees to have more confidence and clarity in their process.

Now since 2020 there have been even more changes to the RPT™ process.

Some of the highlights:
  • The addition of the category Live Webinar in addition to Contact and Non-Contact CEs
  • A different CE breakdown requiring at least 75 Contact hours (in person only), up to 75 Live Webinar hours, and up to 40 Non-Contact Hours
  • The addition of the CE category of Play Therapy Cultural and Social Diversity Topics requiring 6 CEs
  • Shrinking the number of Applicants Choice CEs to 9

SO with all those changes I wanted to put a much overdue update to my 2019 tracking guide - with so many more bells and whistles!

The 2024 Update:
  • Automatic tracking and totals for Experience, Supervision/Consultation, and Continuing Education
  • Automatically calculate and total your Contact, Live Webinar, and Non-Contact CE hours
  • Automatically calculate totals of group vs. individual consultation/supervision
  • Color coded totals to let you know when you have met minimum thresholds and completed phases
  • A place to track your observations for each phase
  • All the resources in one place - competencies, APT Best Practices, APT Paper on Touch, overview of criteria, and direct links to the application, standards, and the CE breakdown
  • BONUS: Tracking Guide Tutorial Video - where you will get an overview of the application process AND a step-by-step demonstration for how to fill out the tracking guide

And the price for all of this?  Absolutely FREE!!

Don’t let the overwhelm of the process keep you from getting your RPT™ credential.  Let this guide hold your hand through the process and let the tracking be the easiest part of your process!

Grab your Free updated RPT™ Tracking Guide HERE PLUS the BONUS video guide that walks you through it all!
